Tims Ford has always been more than a place to me. It’s part of our family’s story.

Long before the lake existed as we know it today, both my husbands family and mine had family land that was acquired by TVA to make way for its creation. In the generations that followed, the lake became part of the rhythm of our lives.

My husband and I were both born and raised here—fishing these waters, water skiing, and spending countless days on the lake. Years later, we had the privilege of giving our own children that same childhood, teaching them to enjoy all water sports at a young age. Some of our favorite memories have been made right here.

In many ways, this lake raised me. The early mornings. The quiet evenings. The familiar coves. The sense of peace that comes from being on the water. It shaped who I am and created a connection to this place that runs much deeper than recreation.

Turning that lifelong connection into Driftwood Lake Life Management felt natural.
